This base fabric is Glasgow Cloth, composed of 93% polyester, 5% viscose, and 2% elastane, with a weight of 380 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. The printed solid color is a Purple Sage Bush purple, with a CMYK of 56, 49, 6, 0. This color conveys elegance and sophistication, and pairs well with lighter shades such as pink and lilac, as well as dark ones like black and gray. Its important to note that the fabric is digitally printed on one side, meaning its not a dyed fabric, but rather the color is applied only to one surface.
The general characteristics of this base fabric are its soft and comfortable texture. Furthermore, the printed solid color is fade-resistant and high-quality, ensuring great durability and resistance. Regarding applications and uses, Glasgow Cloth is very versatile, used in altars, in fashion for making coats, jackets, blazers, bomber jackets, or vests. It is also highly sought after in home textiles, for coasters, and in the kitchen for dishcloths.
It is important to highlight the care required for this fabric. Do not bleach, the maximum washing temperature is 40°C, and dry cleaning is not allowed. It is recommended to iron at a warm temperature and tumble drying is not permitted.
The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation, applied to polyester. This technique allows for perfect color fixation on the fabric, providing superior quality and durability. The result is a high-quality and resistant fabric, with an attractive and long-lasting solid color.
