The base fabric is 100% polyester Satin, with a weight of 120 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm, known as Satin - Amsterdam. The plain printed color is a beautiful Koi Blue, with a CMYK of 49 24 13 1, which provides a bright visual texture, a smooth feel, and remarkable thinness. This secondary color evokes calm and serenity, associated with the sea, sky, and stability, making its use highly beneficial for any type of garment and accessory. It perfectly complements soft colors, such as light gray, pastel pink, or seafoam green.
It is important to note that the fabric is printed with the plain color on one side using digital textile printing, meaning it is not a dyed fabric but printed on one side. This technique allows for great precision and resolution in designs, as well as a wide variety of options and possibilities to customize any type of garment or accessory.
The base fabric has general characteristics such as a bright texture, a smooth feel, and remarkable thinness, making it an ideal material for light and fluid garments and accessories. Furthermore, in terms of applications and uses, this fabric can be used for womens or mens fashion garments, such as shirts, blouses, kimonos, pants, skirts, jumpsuits, tops, and accessories like scarves. It is also suitable for lingerie, such as pajamas, dresses, and particularly, bridal wear.
It is essential to mention the care instructions for this fabric. It should not be bleached, and machine washing at a maximum temperature of 40ºC is recommended; dry cleaning is allowed except with trichloroethylene. Ironing should be done at a warm temperature, and the tumble dryer can be used at a reduced temperature.
Finally, the printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is polyester sublimation, a method that allows designs to be permanently transferred to the fabric fibers, achieving a high-quality finish with resistance to wear and washing.
