The base fabric is a Satin/Charmeuse called Raso Ámsterdam, composed of 100% polyester, with a weight of 120 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. The printed solid color is in shades of Blue and Navy Blue, with a combination of cyan, magenta, and yellow inks in proportions of 26, 7, and 2, respectively, forming a CMYK of 26 7 2 0. Blue is a color that symbolizes tranquility, trust, and harmony, while Navy Blue denotes authority, security, and elegance. This secondary color combines well with other cool colors such as Gray, both light and dark, and with warm colors such as White and Yellow.
The fabric is printed with the solid color on one side using digital textile printing, which means the color is applied to the fabrics surface precisely and uniformly in a single pass, leaving no residue or ink traces.
Among the general characteristics of the base fabric, its shiny visual appearance and smooth, thin feel stand out. It is also a versatile fabric that can be used in various applications or uses, such as shirts, blouses, kimonos, accessories, skirts, trousers, tops, pajamas, dresses, and scarves, among others. It is also suitable for use in lingerie and the manufacture of bridal and haute couture garments.
Regarding care, it is recommended not to bleach the fabric and to wash it at a maximum temperature of 40ºC. It can be ironed at a warm temperature, and if dry cleaning is needed, the use of trichloroethylene should be avoided. It can also be tumble dried at a reduced temperature.
The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation (polyester), which is based on transferring a special ink onto the fabric using heat and pressure, allowing for high-quality, precise, and durable designs. With this technology, vivid and sharp colors can be obtained on the fabric, as well as gradient and shading effects.
