The base fabric, Raso - Ámsterdam, is a 100% polyester satin/raso with a weight of 120 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. The solid color printed on this fabric is a deep teal green with an ink composition of 93 cyan, 50 magenta, 52 yellow, and 49 black, resulting in a CMYK of 93 50 52 49.
This deep green has a symbolism that represents tranquility, harmony, and growth. Additionally, technically, it is a color that conveys freshness and vitality. This color combines especially well with white, cream, and beige tones to create a soft and elegant palette. It can also be combined with brown and ochre tones for a warmer and timeless look.
It is important to note that the base fabric of this fabric is single-sided printed using digital textile printing, which means it is printed directly onto the fabric surface and is not a dyed fabric.
Regarding its general characteristics, the base fabric has a visual sheen and a smooth, delicate feel. The fabric is thin and lightweight, making it ideal for creating soft and delicate garments. Furthermore, the 120 gr/m2 weight makes the fabric durable enough for daily use and to remain in good condition.
As for the applications and uses of the fabric, it is a good option for making womens and mens clothing such as shirts, blouses, jumpsuits, skirts, trousers, and tops. It is also suitable for making lingerie such as pajamas, dresses, and wedding gowns, and for accessories like scarves and kimonos.
It is important to consider the care instructions for the fabric; we recommend washing at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, do not bleach, iron at a warm temperature, and avoid using trichloroethylene. Additionally, it can be tumble dried at a reduced temperature.
Finally, the printing technology used to create this fabric is sublimation on polyester. This means that the ink is infused into the fabric fibers through a thermal process, resulting in a durable and high-quality print.
