The base fabric, Satin - Amsterdam, is a 100% polyester satin with a weight of 120 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. Its plain printed color is in brown and sepia tones, with a CMYK of 34 69 68 42. This color conveys a sense of elegance, sophistication, and maturity, evoking old wood and tanned leather. It combines perfectly with other earth tones or neutral colors such as ivory, gray, and black.
It is important to note that this fabric is printed with the plain color on one side using digital textile printing, which means that the printed color is high quality and durable while not affecting the smooth and shiny texture of the satin.
The general characteristics of the base fabric are its shiny visual texture, smooth tactile texture, and thin tactile texture. These characteristics combine perfectly with the attributes of the printed color, making the resulting fabric have a luxurious and elegant appearance.
The applications and uses of the fabric are diverse, such as blouses, skirts, pants, tops, jumpsuits, pajamas, and lingerie dresses, both for brides and formal events. Its fluid drape and durability make it an ideal fabric for creating haute couture garments as well as more relaxed pieces perfect for everyday wear.
To keep the fabric in optimal conditions, it is important to consider the following care instructions: do not bleach, maximum temperature of 40ºC, dry cleaning allowed (except trichloroethylene), iron at a warm temperature, and tumble dry at a reduced temperature.
The printing technology used for the manufacturing of this fabric is sublimation, which allows for color transfer through a thermal process. This guarantees precise printing with high-quality color, which makes the printing details clearly visible on the fabric and ensures high durability.
