The base fabric, Raso Ámsterdam, is a satin/satin weave made of 100% polyester with a weight of 120 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. The solid color printed on this fabric is desert sand brown, composed of a CMYK ink mixture using 18% cyan, 26% magenta, 31% yellow, and 3% black. This secondary color is characterized by its elegance and sophistication, evoking the strength and warmth of the desert. It pairs especially well with neutral tones such as beige, black, and cream.
It is important to note that this fabric is single-sided printed using digital textile printing, which means it is not a dyed fabric but printed on one side. This digital printing process ensures high resolution in designs and faithful color reproduction, resulting in a high-quality finish on the fabrics.
In terms of general characteristics, the base fabric has a visually bright texture and is very soft to the touch. In addition, it is a light and thin fabric, making it ideal for delicate garments such as blouses, skirts, or pajamas. On the other hand, the solid color printed on this fabric has a smooth texture to the touch, which gives it an elegant and sophisticated finish.
Regarding the applications and uses of the base fabric, it is ideal for making fashion garments, such as shirts, blouses, jumpsuits, skirts, pants, tops, and accessories, as well as pajamas and lingerie dresses. Its polyester composition also makes it ideal for bridal designs, such as scarves and kimonos.
It is important to note the care instructions for this fabric, which include washing at a maximum temperature of 40 degrees Celsius, do not bleach, iron at a warm temperature, and keep away from trichloroethylene. Additionally, it can be tumble dried at a reduced temperature.
The printing technology used on this fabric is sublimation, which allows the transfer of colors and designs in high definition with great resistance to washing and rubbing. The process consists of printing the design on paper and then transferring it to the fabric by applying heat and pressure. This method is very precise and allows complex and detailed designs to be reproduced with great quality on fabrics.
