Satin - Amsterdam is a 100% polyester satin fabric with a weight of 120 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. The plain color printed on the base fabric is a deep red with burnt pink tones, obtained using a combination of CMYK inks with values of 30 for cyan ink, 95 for magenta ink, 33 for yellow ink, and 24 for black ink.
This deep red symbolizes passion and ardent love, while the burnt pink tones add a touch of softness and sweetness. This color combines especially well with gray and dark blue tones, which soften its intensity and make it easier to combine in different outfits.
It is important to note that this fabric is printed on one side using digital textile printing, which means that the color does not penetrate the fabric fibers but is applied to its surface.
Regarding general characteristics, the fabric presents a shiny visual texture and a smooth, delicate feel. Furthermore, its light weight makes it ideal for garments that require drape and movement, such as skirts and dresses.
In relation to the applications and uses of the base fabric, Satin - Amsterdam is perfectly suited for fashion garments for both men and women, such as shirts, blouses, jumpsuits, pants, tops, and accessories like scarves. Its softness and delicacy also make it suitable for lingerie, pajamas, and wedding dresses.
Regarding care, it is necessary to take into account that the fabric should not be bleached or washed at a temperature above 40ºC. Dry cleaning is recommended, except with trichloroethylene, ironing at a warm temperature, and tumble drying at a reduced temperature.
Finally, the printing technology used in the manufacture of Satin - Amsterdam is sublimation, which consists of transferring ink to the fabric through heat and pressure, thus ensuring a high-quality and durable result.
