The base fabric, Raso Ámsterdam, is a polyester satin with a density of 120 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. The plain printed color is a light orange hue, with a CMYK ink combination of 11-33-71-2. This color is a bright and attractive mix of yellow and red, conveying energy and vitality. It pairs especially well with neutral tones such as white, black, and gray, but also with complementary colors like blue and green. The fabric is digitally printed on one side.
The base fabric is characterized by its soft and smooth texture, as well as its luster and delicate feel. Its 100% polyester composition gives it great strength and durability, as well as a high ink absorption capacity. On the other hand, the printed color stands out for its intense brightness and softness to the touch, which gives it an elegant and sophisticated look.
Among the applications and uses of the fabric are the creation of clothing and fashion accessories, from shirts and blouses to skirts, pants, and accessories such as scarves. It can also be used for making lingerie and pajamas, as well as wedding dresses and kimonos. Its use is timeless, although it is especially recommended for the autumn/winter 2021 season.
To care for the fabric, a series of recommendations should be followed, such as avoiding the use of bleach, not exceeding 40ºC when washing, not using trichloroethylene for dry cleaning, and ironing at a warm temperature. Likewise, it is recommended to tumble dry the fabric at a reduced temperature.
The printing technology used for the manufacturing of this fabric is sublimation. This printing process involves the transfer of ink through heat and pressure, which ensures high print quality, durability, and wash resistance. Thanks to this technology, personalized and complex designs can be printed on the fabric with great precision and detail.
