The base fabric of Satin - Amsterdam is a 100% polyester satin/raso with a weight of 120 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. The printed color is a dark mint green with a CMYK of 81 24 56 7. This color evokes tranquility, freshness, and naturalness, making it ideal for the autumn/winter 2021 season. It combines particularly well with shades of gray, light blue, and pink. It is worth noting that the fabric is printed on one side using digital textile printing, which guarantees greater durability and quality of the printed color.
Regarding the characteristics of the base fabric, we can affirm that it has a visually bright texture and a smooth and delicate feel, making it a very fine and delicate fabric in appearance. It is a very versatile fabric, with multiple applications and uses, such as in womens and mens clothing, both in shirts and in skirts or pants. It can also be used for the manufacture of lingerie, both for pajamas and for dresses or scarves. In addition, other possible applications include kimonos and fashion accessories.
To properly care for the fabric, we must avoid bleaching it and wash it in water at a maximum temperature of 40ºC. Likewise, dry cleaning is allowed, except with trichloroethylene. When ironing it, we must do so at a warm temperature and with caution. Finally, it can also be tumble dried at a reduced temperature to avoid any type of fabric shrinkage.
As for the printing technology used, the fabric is designed using the polyester sublimation technique, which guarantees greater durability and quality of the printed color. This is an effective and precise technique that requires a pre-treatment process of the fabric and is then printed on a plate using heat and pressure. In this way, greater color fixation in the fabric is achieved.
