The base fabric, Satin - Amsterdam, is a Satin/Duchess Satin composed of 100% polyester with a weight of 120 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. Its solid printed color is an elegant Cloud Gray (20 12 17 0 CMYK), whose soft and gentle tone is perfect for a wide range of designs. This secondary color also combines with a variety of colors, including white, black, and pink.
It is important to note that the fabric is printed with the solid color on one side only using digital textile printing, which means that the printed color is exclusively on one side of the fabric.
In terms of characteristics, the fabric is shiny and has a smooth and thin texture to the touch. The solid printed color is soft and uniform, which gives the fabric an elegant and sophisticated look.
The applications of the base fabric are very wide, including blouses, skirts, pants, tops, nightwear such as pajamas and lingerie dresses, and accessories like scarves. Furthermore, it is perfect for making kimonos and wedding dresses.
Regarding care, it is suggested not to bleach and to wash at a maximum temperature of 40°C. The fabric allows dry cleaning but avoiding trichloroethylene. It can be ironed at a warm temperature and tumble dried at a reduced temperature.
Finally, it is important to highlight that the printing technology used is sublimation (polyester). This printing method involves the use of special inks that turn into gas when the temperature increases and then adhere to the surface of the base fabric, achieving a crisp and durable print.
