Satin - Amsterdam

The base fabric, Raso Ámsterdam, is a satin/sateen with a weight of 120 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm, composed entirely of polyester. As for its printed plain color, it is a pastel green with a combination of cyan, magenta, and yellow inks in proportions of 22, 2, and 57 respectively, with 0% black ink. This color can be particularly combined with other pastel colors such as pink, lilac, beige, and sky blue.

The base fabric, soft to the touch and with a visual sheen, is printed with the aforementioned plain color on one side using digital textile printing. It is important to note that this is not a dyed fabric but rather printed on one side. The combination of both aspects provides a uniform, vibrant, and long-lasting color.

The characteristics of the base fabric are diverse; its smooth and thin texture stands out, making it ideal for fitted garments. On the other hand, its visual sheen makes it perfect for formal wear. As for its applications and uses, the fabric can be used for making shirts, blouses, jumpsuits, skirts, pajamas, and pants, among others. It is also suitable for making scarves and accessories.

It is important to note that the base fabric should be washed at a maximum temperature of 40ºC and should not be bleached. It can be ironed at a warm temperature and can also be tumble dried at a reduced temperature. In addition, it allows for dry cleaning, except for the use of trichloroethylene.

The printing technology used on this type of fabric is sublimation on polyester. This process consists of printing through a transfer paper that is heated and pressed against the fabric, achieving excellent print quality with permanent color fixation on the fabric.
