The base fabric is Amsterdam Satin/Sateen, with a composition of 100% polyester, a weight of 120 gr/m2, and a width of 150 cm. The solid printed color is a combination of light green and pink with a CMYK of 20 2 18 0. The predominant green color symbolizes nature, hope, and harmony, while light pink represents delicacy, love, and tenderness. This secondary color combines especially well with neutral tones such as white, black, or grey.
The base fabric is digitally printed on one side using textile digital printing. It is important to note that the print does not penetrate the fabric fibers but is on the surface, meaning it is a printed fabric, not dyed. The characteristics of the base fabric are visually bright, smooth to the touch, and thin in texture.
Among the applications and uses of Amsterdam Satin/Sateen are the creation of shirts, blouses, skirts, trousers, tops, kimonos, jumpsuits, pajamas, dresses, scarves, and bridal lingerie. This type of fabric is ideal for adding a touch of elegance and sophistication to haute couture garments, as well as for making fashion accessories or complements.
To maintain the quality and durability of the fabric, it is important to follow the care instructions provided: do not bleach, wash at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, dry clean except with trichloroethylene, iron at a warm temperature, and tumble dry at a reduced temperature.
The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation (polyester). In this process, special sublimation paper is printed with sublimation ink and placed on the fabric. Through the application of heat and pressure, the ink turns into vapor and permeates the fabric fibers, creating a durable and high-quality print.
