The base fabric, Satin/Amsterdam Rayon, is a fabric with a weight of 120 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm, composed of 100% polyester. The plain color printed on this base fabric is a beautiful shade of jay blue, with a CMYK code of 96 64 22 6, indicating that the predominantly used color in the print is cyan, followed by magenta and yellow, with a touch of black to enhance color depth. This blue hue is reminiscent of nature and evokes tranquility, serenity, and freedom.
This secondary color, jay blue, combines very well with natural colors such as beige, brown, or olive green, but it is also perfect for combining with more vibrant colors such as mustard yellow or orange. Additionally, thanks to its shine, this color brings elegance and sophistication to any look. It is important to note that the print is made only on one side of the fabric using digital textile printing and it is not a dyed fabric.
In terms of general characteristics, the base fabric of this garment has a shiny visual texture and a smooth, thin feel. It is also breathable and resistant to wear and tear. Furthermore, thanks to its polyester composition, this fabric does not wrinkle easily, making it ideal for clothing.
Regarding the applications and uses of the fabric, it is perfect for making womens and mens fashion, such as shirts, blouses, skirts, pants, tops, jumpsuits, or kimonos, as well as for accessories such as scarves. It is also ideal for making lingerie, such as pajamas, dresses, or for brides.
In terms of care, this fabric can be washed at a maximum temperature of 40 degrees Celsius, should not be bleached but can be dry cleaned, except with trichloroethylene. It is possible to iron the fabric at a warm temperature and tumble dry at a reduced temperature.
Finally, the printing technology used to dye the fabric is sublimation, which is done by transferring liquid ink to a transfer paper ribbon and then to the fabric. This technique is mainly used on polyester fabrics and allows for sharp, high-quality image printing on the garment.
