The base fabric is Raso - Amsterdam, a satin/raso fabric with a composition of 100% polyester, a grammage of 120 gr/m2, and a width of 150 cm. The solid color printed on this fabric is a light blue-violet, obtained with a cyan ink of 23, a magenta of 7, a yellow of 2, and no black ink. The result is a bright and solid tone, with a soft and silky appearance. This color is perfect for combining with neutral tones like white and black, as well as with analogous tones like blues and purples.
It is important to note that the base fabric is printed with the solid color on one side using digital textile printing, which means it is not a dyed fabric but rather printed directly on one of its sides. The result is a sharp image with bright colors and a soft texture to the touch.
Regarding its general characteristics, the base fabric has a shiny texture and feels soft and smooth while being thin. Its applications and uses are wide-ranging, from womens and mens fashion, such as shirts, blouses, jumpsuits, skirts, pants, and tops, to accessories like scarves. It is also suitable for lingerie, such as pajamas, dresses, and bridal wear. Furthermore, its printing technology also makes it ideal for making kimonos.
It is important to consider the recommended care for this base fabric, which includes not bleaching, washing at a maximum temperature of 40°C, dry cleaning (except with trichloroethylene), ironing at a warm temperature, and it can be tumble dried at a reduced temperature.
Finally, the printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation, an ink transfer process that converts the ink into vapor and impregnates it into the base fabric. This technology allows for detailed and high-quality reproduction of any design or pattern on the base fabric, guaranteeing a clean and defined image on every fiber of the fabric.
