The base fabric is Raso - Amsterdam, a satin composed of 100% polyester with a weight of 120 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. The solid printed color is a cranberry blue, with a CMYK of 94 63 7 0, which denotes an intense and deep tone, thanks to the combination of cyan and magenta tones, with a touch of yellow. This color combines especially well with ochre, gray, and green tones. It is important to note that the fabric is printed with the solid color on one side by digital textile printing.
The general characteristics of the base fabric are several. First, its shiny and soft texture stands out, thanks to its polyester composition, in addition to being a thin and light, yet resistant fabric. As for the printed color, it is characterized by being an intense and vibrant color, which adds a touch of freshness and elegance to any garment.
Regarding its applications and uses, Raso - Amsterdam is an ideal fabric for making fashion garments for women and men, such as blouses, shirts, pants, skirts or tops, as well as for lingerie, especially bridal, dresses, and pajamas. It is also a very suitable fabric for making kimonos and accessories such as scarves.
Regarding the care instructions for this fabric, bleaching should be avoided, and it should be washed at a maximum temperature of 40ºC. Dry cleaning is allowed, with the exception of trichloroethylene, and ironing should be done at a warm temperature. It can be tumble dried at low temperature.
The printing technology used for the manufacture of this fabric is polyester sublimation. This process consists of using special inks that vaporize and adhere to the fabric, so that they impregnate the fibers, achieving a permanent color fixation. Thanks to this technique, a high-quality finish and great resistance to washing and rubbing are obtained.
