The base fabric, Raso - Ámsterdam, is composed entirely of polyester, with a weight of 120 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. As for the plain printed color, it is a Lapis Lazuli Blue with a mix of 100% Cyan ink, 82% Magenta ink, 21% Yellow ink, and 4% Black ink, giving us a CMYK color profile of 100 82 21 4. This color conveys a sense of elegance and sophistication. It combines very well with other colors such as gray, white, and yellow, creating a harmony in contrasts.
It is important to note that the fabric is printed with the plain color on one side using digital textile printing, which means it is not a dyed fabric but one printed exclusively on one side. This gives it a smooth and thin texture and feel on the surface.
Regarding general characteristics, the base fabric presents a brilliant visual texture and a smooth feel. In addition, it is a thin and transparent fabric that provides a soft and elegant finish. On the other hand, the Lapis Lazuli Blue color printed on it adds a touch of freshness and innovation, creating an effect of depth and clarity.
Among the applications and uses of this fabric, one can find womens or mens fashion such as shirts, blouses, jumpsuits, skirts, trousers, and tops, as well as lingerie like pajamas, dresses, and bridal wear. Its use also extends to accessories such as scarves or kimonos. The versatility of this fabric makes it timeless and suitable for the Autumn/Winter 2021 season.
It is important to consider the care this fabric requires, such as not bleaching it and washing it at a maximum temperature of 40ºC. In addition, we can dry clean it, except with trichloroethylene. For ironing, a warm temperature is recommended, and it can be tumble dried at a reduced temperature.
Finally, the printing technology used for the manufacturing of this fabric is sublimation. This technique involves the use of specialized ink and paper that are transferred by heat to the fabric surface, allowing for a durable fixation with bright and vivid colors.
