The base fabric is the Fine Water-Repellent Fabric - Storm, a technical fabric made of 100% polyester, with a weight of 70 gr/m2 and a width of 145 cm. Its plain printed color is a Medium Orchid Purple, which is achieved with a combination of cyan, magenta, and yellow inks, with values of 24, 45, and 5, respectively, in the CMYK color model. This color symbolizes mysticism, creativity, and femininity. It combines well with other pastel colors, such as soft pink or light blue.
The fabric is printed with the plain color on one side by digital textile printing, which means that the image is printed directly onto the fabric surface with high resolution and color quality. The characteristics of the base fabric include a waterproof and water-resistant finish, with a thin and smooth texture to the touch.
This fabric is suitable for a wide range of applications, including mens and womens fashion, such as jackets and coats, as well as home textiles, such as shower curtains. It is also ideal for womens, mens, and childrens sportswear, such as raincoats and sports jackets. It can be used during the winter season.
Regarding care, the fabric should not be bleached, and the maximum washing temperature is 40ºC. Dry cleaning is not recommended, and it should be ironed at a low temperature. It is not suitable for tumble drying.
The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation, which is a thermal transfer printing technique that allows colors to penetrate deeply into the fabric fiber to achieve a sharp and durable image. This technique is perfect for printing complex and detailed designs on technical fabrics such as the Storm base fabric.
