The Fine Water-Repellent Fabric - Storm is a technical fabric with a composition of 100% polyester, a weight of 70 gr/m2, and a width of 145 cm. Its plain printed color is an intense cantaloupe orange, given by CMYK values: 11 41 59 2. This color is technically known as a secondary color, which is generated by a combination of the primary colors yellow and and red. It is an energetic and vital color that can be combined with more neutral tones such as gray, white, or black to make it stand out even more.
The fabric is digitally printed with the plain color on one side, meaning it is not a dyed fabric but printed on one side. The fabric features a waterproof and water-repellent finish, a thin and smooth texture to the touch, which ensures excellent quality for making garments and home textiles.
Among the applications and uses of the base fabric, it stands out in fashion for mens and womens jackets, shower curtains for the home, as well as raincoats and sports jackets for everyone, including children. This type of fabric is especially suitable for the winter season.
To ensure greater durability and proper care of this fabric, it is important to consider its composition and follow the care instructions provided by the manufacturer, which include no bleaching, washing at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, low-temperature ironing, and no tumble drying.
Finally, sublimation technology (polyester) is used to print the plain color onto the base fabric. This process involves transferring the image through heat and pressure using sublimation ink, which is fixed onto the polyester fabric through a process of vaporization and subsequent solidification.
