The base fabric is a thin, water-repellent fabric known as Storm, which is made of 100% polyester and has a weight of 70 gr/m2 and a width of 145 cm. The plain color printed on this fabric is a combination of orange and school bus yellow, with a Cyan ink of 13, a Magenta ink of 45, a Yellow ink of 82, and a Black ink of 3, resulting in a CMYK of 13 45 82 3. This color transmits vitality, joy, and energy, and perfectly complements other orange, yellow, and red colors, as well as neutral tones such as white and gray.
It is important to note that this fabric is printed with the plain color on one side by digital textile printing, which means it is not a dyed fabric but rather printed on one side, giving it great durability and resistance to the elements and washing. The base fabric has waterproofing and water-repellent characteristics, and its texture and feel are thin and smooth.
Among the applications and uses of this fabric, fashion stands out, such as jackets for women and men, as well as textile elements for the home, such as shower curtains for the bathroom. It can also be used in sportswear, such as raincoats and jackets for women, men, and children. Its waterproof characteristics and lightness make it ideal for making outerwear to protect against rain and wind.
Regarding the care that should be taken for this fabric, it is necessary to avoid bleaching and use a maximum washing temperature of 40ºC. In addition, dry cleaning and tumble drying are not recommended, and it is advisable to iron at a cool temperature to avoid damaging the plain color print.
Finally, the printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation, a technique that consists of printing the design on transfer paper using special inks and then transferring it to the base fabric using heat and pressure. This process guarantees high print quality and durability in the colors. In summary, the Storm fabric printed with this plain color is a perfect option for outdoor clothing and home textile elements that require resistance to the elements and an original and vibrant design.
