Fine Water-Repellent Fabric - Storm

The base fabric is the fine water-repellent fabric - Storm, which is made of 100% polyester and has a weight of 70 gr/m2, with a fabric width of 145 cm. The plain color printed on this base fabric is banana yellow, with a CMYK content of 18 2 75 0. This color symbolizes joy, happiness, and optimism, and technically it is an intense color that adds depth and luminosity to the design. Banana yellow combines especially well with green, pink, and red tones, giving them a strong personality.

It is important to note that the base fabric is printed with the plain color on one side using digital textile printing, which means it is not a dyed fabric but printed on one side. The general characteristics of this fabric are its water-repellent and hydrophobic finish, its thin and smooth texture, and its soft touch.

Among the applications and uses of the base fabric, we find fashion such as mens and womens jackets, home textiles such as shower curtains, and sportswear such as raincoats and jackets for men, women, and children. In addition to these, other uses that can be given to the fabric include the creation of umbrellas, backpacks, or any other object that requires protection against rain.

Due to its composition and special finish, it is recommended to wash the garment at a maximum temperature of 40ºC and iron it at a cool temperature. It is also important to avoid the use of bleaches and dry cleaning, and it should not be tumble dried.

The printing technology used for this fabric is polyester sublimation, which allows the colors impregnated in the fabric to maintain their intensity and sharpness even after many washes. This technique consists of transferring the printed design from the transfer paper to the fabric using heat and pressure, which guarantees a perfect definition of the design.
