The base fabric is the Fine Water-Repellent Fabric - Storm, composed entirely of polyester with a weight of 70 gr/m2. It has a width of 145 cm and is designed for use in fashion, home decor, and winter sportswear. The solid color printed on this fabric is in shades of blue, with a CMYK of 80, 24, 27, and 4. This color resembles an Ivy Blue and pairs perfectly with other lighter shades of blue or neutral colors like white or black.
The fabric is printed with this solid tone on one side using digital textile printing, so it is important to note that it is not a dyed fabric but a printed one. The fabrics texture is thin, but with a waterproof and water-repellent finish, making it an ideal choice for outdoor garments. Additionally, it has a smooth and soft feel against the skin.
The recommended applications and uses for this base fabric are diverse, but it stands out in fashion for making mens and womens jackets, as well as raincoats and sports jackets. For home decor, it is perfect for making shower curtains thanks to its water-repellent finish. In sports, winter jackets and sportswear are an ideal option for this fabric.
Regarding care, this fabric should not be bleached, and its maximum washing temperature should be 40°C. The garment is not suitable for dry cleaning, and ironing at a cool temperature is recommended. It cannot be tumble dried to avoid damage to the print.
The printing technology used on this fabric is polyester sublimation. This means that the design is printed on transfer paper using special inks, and the transfer process from paper to the polyester base fabric is carried out using heat and pressure. This printing method allows for precise and detailed results in printing the design on the fabric.
