The base fabric is the Fine Water-Repellent Fabric - Storm, made of 100% polyester, with a weight of 70 gr/m2 and a width of 145cm. The plain printed color is a sky blue tone, with ink values of Cyan 52, Magenta 11, Yellow 16, and Black 0 in the CMYK color model. This secondary color is characterized by conveying feelings of tranquility, serenity, and freshness, and combines perfectly with earth tones, greens, and grays.
It is important to note that the fabric is printed with the plain color on one side using digital textile printing, which means it is not a dyed fabric but printed on one side. Regarding its general characteristics, Storm fabric is a technical fabric with a water-repellent finish, making it ideal for applications requiring moisture resistance. Additionally, its textures and feel are thin and smooth, making it an easy-to-handle fabric.
Among the applications and uses of the base fabric are fashion, manufacturing of womens/mens jackets, home textiles, such as shower curtains in bathrooms, and sportswear, such as raincoats and womens/mens/childrens jackets. It is important to highlight that Storm fabric is specifically designed for winter use, given its water resistance.
Regarding the care instructions, it is important to avoid the use of bleaches and dry cleaning, and to wash the garment at a maximum temperature of 40ºC. Additionally, it is advisable to iron at a cold temperature and avoid using a tumble dryer.
The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is polyester sublimation, which allows full-color digital printing with great quality and detail, thanks to the thermal transfer of ink to the fabric. This achieves a print resistant to washing, wear, and deterioration, which guarantees the durability and quality of the garment.
