The base fabric, Storm, is a technical water-repellent fabric composed of 100% polyester with a weight of 70 gr/m2 and a width of 145 cm. The plain printed color is Dark Blue Denim with a Cyan ink content of 100, Magenta ink of 81, Yellow ink of 14, and Black ink of 2, with a CMYK of 100 81 14 2. This color resembles an intense and deep blue, evoking the infinite nature of the ocean. Dark Blue Denim pairs perfectly with light tones such as white, beige, and gray, as well as with warm tones such as red and gold.
It is important to note that the Storm fabric printed with this plain color is single-sided printed using digital textile printing, which means it is not a dyed fabric but rather single-sided printed. The general characteristics of the fabric include its water-repellent and waterproof finish, thin and smooth texture to the touch.
Among the applications and uses of the fabric are fashion, for both men and women, in jackets and blousons, also in home textiles such as shower curtains and in sportswear such as raincoats and jackets for men, women, and children during the winter season.
It is important to consider the special care required for this fabric, which includes not bleaching, maintaining a maximum washing temperature of 40ºC, not dry cleaning, ironing at a cool temperature, and avoiding tumble drying.
The printing technology used for the manufacture of this type of fabric is sublimation, a process that allows colors to transfer to the fabric by sublimation of the pigment when heated. This provides superior image quality and maximum durability compared to other forms of printing.
