The base fabric is the Fine Water-Repellent Fabric - Storm, made of 100% polyester. Its grammage is 70 gr/m2 and its width is 145 cm. It features a soft and delicate texture, with a smooth feel that is pleasant to the touch against the skin. Its solid printed color is presented in purple tones, reflecting a purple sage bush through a CMYK composed of 57 cyan, 46 magenta, 5 yellow, and 0 black.
As for the secondary color, its hue evokes a mix between purple and pink, which conveys warmth, delicacy, and elegance. Purple is associated with wisdom, creativity, and elegance, while pink is associated with tenderness, innocence, and sweetness. The secondary color ideally combines with colors such as white, black, gray, gold, or silver, ideal for clothing and interior decoration.
This fabric is printed with a plain, single-sided design using digital textile printing, which allows for high definition in details and a wide color range. The fabric is not dyed, but printed, which gives it greater fidelity and quality of design.
Among its general characteristics, its waterproof finish stands out, ideal for outdoor garments such as jackets, shower curtains, raincoats, and bomber jackets. In addition, its fine and delicate texture makes it a perfect fabric for fashion tailoring for both men and women. The sublimation printing technology on polyester ensures the color fixation in a durable and time-resistant way.
The applications and uses of this fabric are very wide, being found in the fashion, home textile, and sports sectors. In fashion, it is used in the manufacture of jackets, coats, and bomber jackets. In the home textile sector, it is used in the manufacture of shower curtains. In the sports sector, it is used for both jackets and raincoats.
For the care of this fabric, it is important to note that it should not be bleached, it should be washed at temperatures below 40ºC, and it should be ironed at cold temperatures. The garment does not allow dry cleaning and should not be tumble dried.
Finally, sublimation printing technology is a process that allows the transfer of the design printed on special paper to the surface of the fabric, through the use of heat and pressure. The special paper used is printed with sublimatic inks that are transferred to the fabric in a durable way. This process guarantees high quality and definition in the final design printed on the base fabric.
