The base fabric, Brushed Sweatshirt Fabric - Boston, is a 100% polyester sweatshirt fabric with a weight of 220 gr/m2 and a width of 160 cm. The solid color printed on this fabric is a beautiful coral pink shade with a CMYK of 15 60 52 4, indicating that it is composed mainly of red and yellow tones in combination with some magenta and black. This secondary color symbolizes passion, love, and energy. It combines especially well with neutral tones such as white, black, and beige, as well as with soft blue tones. It is important to note that the fabric is digitally printed with the solid color on one side only, meaning that the color does not extend to the back of the fabric and is only present on one side.
Regarding the general characteristics of the base fabric, it is soft and light thanks to its brushed finish. It provides warmth and comfort, making it perfect for sweatshirts, tracksuits, and other winter and autumn/winter clothing items. In addition, the fabric is recycled and GRS certified, which makes it more sustainable. As for the printed solid color, it is wash-resistant and does not fade easily, thanks to the printing technology used.
The uses and applications of the base fabric are varied, such as womens/mens fashion, sweatshirts, tracksuits, and accessories such as backpacks and toiletry bags. It is perfect for sportswear for women/men/children, as well as for other clothing items that require comfort and warmth. In addition, its softness and lightness make it ideal for fashion items that require a good drape.
It is important to note the care that this fabric should have, such as not bleaching it, washing it at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, and avoiding using an iron. The fabric also allows dry cleaning, except with trichloroethylene, and can be tumble dried at a reduced temperature.
Finally, the printing technology used in the manufacturing of this fabric is sublimation (polyester). This process uses heat to transfer the ink to the fabric, which provides a durable and wash-resistant print. In addition, this technology allows the ink to permeate the fibers of the fabric to achieve a more vivid and detailed print.
