The base fabric used in this case is the Brushed Sweatshirt Fabric - Boston, which is a 100% polyester sweatshirt fabric with a weight of 220 gr/m2 and a width of 160 cm. In addition, it has GRS certification and is considered a sustainable and recycled fabric. As for the solid printed color, it is a Cantaloupe Orange with CMYK values of 11 41 59 2, which indicates a predominance of yellow and magenta in its composition.
The Cantaloupe Orange color symbolizes vitality, energy, and optimism. In technical terms, it is a secondary color obtained through the mixture of primary colors such as red and yellow. In addition to integrating perfectly into sports and fashion environments, Cantaloupe Orange combines very well with other colors such as black, white, gray, and dark green, so it can be used to create striking and attractive designs.
It is important to note that the fabric is printed with the solid color on one side by digital textile printing, which means that it is not a dyed fabric but printed on one side. As for its characteristics, the Brushed Sweatshirt Fabric - Boston is soft to the touch and has a brushed finish that offers greater comfort to the wearer. For its part, the solid printed color is of great quality and resistance, which allows it to remain in perfect condition for a long time.
This fabric has multiple applications and uses, among which stand out the making of sweatshirts for women, men, and children, toiletry bags, backpacks, and tracksuits. It is an excellent option for the winter season and the autumn-winter 2021 season.
Regarding the care that should be taken into account for this fabric, it is recommended not to bleach it, wash it at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, and dry cleaning is allowed, except with trichloroethylene. In addition, it should not be ironed and can be tumble dried at reduced temperature.
Finally, the printing technology with which this fabric is manufactured is sublimation (polyester), which consists of applying heat and pressure to the dye of the image to transfer it to the surface of the fabric. This allows the final result to be of great quality and durability.
