The Brushed Sweatshirt Fabric - Boston is a sweatshirt fabric made of 100% polyester, with a weight of 220 gr/m2 and a width of 160 cm. The printed plain color is a light brown shade, with a cyan ink of 27, magenta of 54, yellow of 100, and key of 22, resulting in the CMYK 27 54 100 22 color profile. The fabric is digitally textile printed with the plain color on one side.
The light brown shade of the printed color is a secondary color that symbolizes calmness and stability, as it is a shade that evokes earth and nature. Technically speaking, it is a shade found in the range of warm and neutral tones, making it combine very well with cool shades such as blues and greens. Additionally, it is also very interesting to combine it with analogous shades from the same palette, such as earth tones.
Regarding the general characteristics of the base fabric and the plain color, we highlight its brushed finish, which provides a soft and spongy feel to the fabric. Furthermore, being composed of polyester, it has great resistance and durability, making it ideal for sports or winter clothing.
Regarding the applications and uses of the fabric, apart from those already mentioned, it is ideal for making toiletry bags and backpacks, as it is a resistant and durable fabric that withstands weight and daily use well. It can also be used for making tracksuits.
Regarding the care instructions for this fabric, it is important to note that it cannot be ironed and should be washed at a maximum temperature of 40ºC. Additionally, it can be tumble dried at reduced temperature and allows dry cleaning except for trichloroethylene.
Finally, the printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation (polyester), which consists of transferring the design through heat and pressure onto the fabric. This process guarantees high print quality and optimal durability of the printed design on the fabric.
