The Boston Brushed Sweatshirt Base Fabric is a 100% polyester fabric, with a weight of 220 gr/m2 and a width of 160 cm. Its plain printed color is reddish brown, with a CMYK of 31 55 100 32. This color is characterized by its warm balance between the strength of brown and the compassion of red, which allows for a subtle contrast with other colors and a pleasant personal touch. The printed reddish brown combines in a balanced way with both light and dark tones, as it creates a feeling of comfort. The fabric is printed on one side by digital textile printing, its quality is untinted non-woven and we can assure that on both sides the fabric is 100% polyester.
The general characteristics of the base fabric include being finished with a brushed design. This means that the fabric undergoes a mechanical process to create a soft and fluffy fabric. On the other hand, the plain printed color provides elasticity, resistance and softness on the surface. Among the applications and uses of this type of fabric, we can highlight its use in fashion for both women and men in sweatshirts and tracksuits, fashion accessories such as bags and backpacks, toiletry bags and sports items such as sweatshirts. In addition, the fabric has a GRS classification and is recyclable, making it very useful for more sustainable manufacturing.
Regarding care, it is recommended not to bleach, not to iron, machine wash at a maximum temperature of 40°C and, if required, it can be dry cleaned except with trichloroethylene. In addition, the dryer can be used at reduced temperature.
Finally, the printing technology used is sublimation. In this process, solid ink is converted into vapor and deposited on the fabric, where it solidifies, forming a permanent layer. This ensures an extremely sharp and vibrant print quality, and a fabric that is very resistant to washing.
