The base fabric, the Brushed Sweatshirt Fabric - Boston, is made of 100% polyester with a weight of 220 gr/m2 and a width of 160 cm. The solid color printed on this fabric is Sun Yellow, which is obtained by a mix of cyan 7, magenta 14, yellow 55, and black 0, forming its CMYK. This color is a warm and vibrant tone that brings joy and energy to any garment made with this fabric. It combines very well with other colors like red, white, and black, which give it balance and contrast, and can be used in both sportswear and fashion accessories.
It is important to note that the fabric is printed with the solid color on one side only using digital textile printing, which means that the color is only on one side of the fabric. This is not a dyed fabric, but rather printed with high quality and resolution.
The fabric has a brushed finish that gives it softness, texture, and the ability to retain heat. It is sustainable and recycled, GRS certified, making it a conscious and ecological option for garment manufacturing. In addition, it is widely used to create sweatshirts, toiletry bags, backpacks, and tracksuits, making it versatile and adaptable to different styles and needs.
Regarding the care instructions for this fabric, it is important not to bleach it and to wash it at a maximum temperature of 40ºC. It allows dry cleaning except for trichloroethylene and does not allow ironing. It can be tumble dried at a reduced temperature, making it easy to care for and maintain.
The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation, which is done with polyester. This technique consists of applying heat and pressure to solid ink, which causes it to transform into gas and penetrate the pores of the fabric to then solidify again. The result is a high-quality, resistant, and durable print that is completely integrated into the fabric, without additional texture or thickness.
