The base fabric of this garment is Tweed-Chanel, made of 100% polyester with a weight of 420gr/m2 and a width of 150cm. The plain printed color is Cloudy Grey, with a combination of Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, and Black ink, reflected in the CMYK values of 42, 27, 29, and 6 respectively. This color, which evokes elegance and sophistication, combines perfectly with similar shades such as darker greys, navy blues, and burgundy tones. The fabric is printed with the plain color on one side using digital textile printing.
The texture of this fabric is rigid to the touch, which provides a greater sense of structure and firmness in the garment. In terms of its color attributes, Cloudy Grey evokes a stormy day and reflects the simplicity and elegance characteristic of the Chanel brand. Generally, this fabric is ideal for outerwear, such as jackets, blazers, coats, and trench coats, but it is also suitable for skirts, dresses, bomber jackets, and vests. For decorative use, it is ideal for cushions in bedrooms, living rooms, and kitchens. Additionally, this fabric is suitable for making accessories, such as bow ties and caps.
To maintain the quality of this fabric, it is important to follow the care recommendations. It should be washed at a maximum temperature of 30ºC, not bleached, and ironed at a low temperature. This fabric allows dry cleaning, provided that trichloroethylene is not used, and should not be tumble dried.
The printing technology used for this fabric is sublimation. Sublimation is carried out through the combination of specialized transfer paper and a heat press, which applies high temperature and pressure to the transfer paper. This allows the ink pigments to turn into vapor and fix onto the fabric surface, thus providing greater durability to the printed color and a high-quality finish.
