The base fabric of our textile is called Tweed - Chanel and is made of 100% polyester, with a weight of 420 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. Its plain printed color is an elegant gray with a touch of metallic silver, with a CMYK of 22 12 15 0, which gives it great intensity and vibrancy. This color combines especially well with other gray tones and dark colors, making it a very versatile color.
Regarding general characteristics, the fabrics texture is stiff to the touch, which makes it especially resistant and durable. It is important to note that the fabric is printed with the plain color on one side only using digital textile printing, meaning it is not a dyed fabric but rather the color has been added directly to the surface of the fabric.
Among the most common applications and uses of this fabric are fashion garment making, for both women and men, such as jackets, blazers, coats, skirts, dresses, blousons, vests, shorts, bermudas, bow ties, and caps. It can also be used for making cushions in different rooms of the home, such as the living room, bedroom, or kitchen. In the sports field, it can be used for womens, mens, or childrens vests.
As for the care instructions for this fabric, it is important not to bleach it, wash it at a maximum temperature of 30ºC, do not use trichloroethylene for dry cleaning, iron at a cool temperature, and do not tumble dry.
Finally, the printing technology used for the manufacture of this fabric is sublimation, which consists of applying ink through heat and pressure so that it penetrates the fabric fibers and adheres permanently. This process ensures great intensity and durability of the printed color.
