The base fabric is a 100% polyester Tweed – Chanel, with a weight of 420 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. Its plain printed color is Platinum Gray, which is achieved by combining cyan (15), magenta (7), yellow (12), and black (0), with a CMYK value of 15 7 12 0. This color symbolizes sophistication and elegance, bringing a sense of serenity, peace, and balance. It combines perfectly with other soft tones like pink and beige.
The fabric is printed with the plain color on one side using digital textile printing. It is important to note that it is not a dyed fabric, but rather the ink is applied to the surface of the fabric through digital printing.
The base fabric has a rigid texture and a somewhat rough feel. It stands out for its resistance and durability, making it an ideal fabric for fashion applications, for both men and women, in jackets, blazers, coats, skirts, and dresses, among others. It can also be used in the manufacture of cushions for the home and accessories such as bow ties and caps.
Regarding fabric care, it is recommended not to bleach and to wash at a maximum temperature of 30ºC. It can be dry cleaned, except with trichloroethylene. Ironing should be done at a cool temperature, and it cannot be tumble dried.
The printing technology used is sublimation, which consists of transferring the ink onto the fabric using heat and pressure. This process ensures high print quality and excellent color fixation, guaranteeing the durability and resistance of the fabric to washing and use.
