The base fabric, Tweed - Chanel, is a type of tweed with a composition of 100% polyester, a weight of 420 gr/m2, and a width of 150 cm. The solid printed color is Camouflage Green, with a CMYK content of Cyan: 32, Magenta: 24, Yellow: 48, and Black: 7. This secondary color is characterized by its dark green hue, with a camouflage pattern that evokes a military style in fashion apparel, accessories, and home textile items. It pairs well with neutral colors such as black, gray, and beige, as well as earth tones and army green.
It is important to highlight that the fabric is printed with the solid color on one side using digital textile printing, which means it is not a dyed fabric but printed on one side. The texture of the base fabric is stiff to the touch and adapts to a wide variety of applications and uses. It can be used in apparel such as jackets, blazers, coats, skirts, dresses, blousons, and vests, as well as in home textile items such as living room, bedroom, and kitchen cushions, and outdoor cushions. It is also an ideal option for sports items such as vests and caps.
Regarding care, it is recommended not to bleach the fabric and to wash at a maximum temperature of 30ºC. It is safe for dry cleaning, except for the use of trichloroethylene. Ironing should be done at a cool temperature, and it cannot be tumble dried.
The printing technology used in the manufacturing of this fabric is sublimation (polyester), which allows for high-definition printing of designs and colors on polyester fabrics. This printing technique uses special inks that turn into gas when heated, penetrating the polyester fibers and creating a durable and high-quality image.
