The base fabric, Tweed - Chanel, is a tweed fabric made of 100% polyester, with a weight of 420 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. The plain color printed on this fabric is a combination of white and old lace, with a CMYK of 7 7 8 0. This secondary color old lace is described as a pale cream shade with a hint of warm yellow. It combines well with colors such as sage green, pale pink, and beige.
The fabric is printed with the plain color on one side by digital textile printing, which means that the fabric is not dyed but printed on one side. The texture of the fabric is stiff to the touch, making it ideal for structured garments and coats.
Regarding the applications and uses of the fabric, its use in jackets, blazers, coats, skirts, dresses, blousons, vests, cushions and bow ties, among others, stands out. In addition, it is a timeless fabric that adapts to any season of the year.
It is important to take into account the care of the fabric. It is recommended not to bleach it, wash it at a maximum temperature of 30ºC and it admits dry cleaning except trichloroethylene. It should be ironed at a cold temperature and cannot be tumble dried.
The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation, which consists of printing the design on paper and then transferring it to the fabric using heat and pressure. This allows for high quality and precision in printing details, as well as a wider range of colors and personalized designs.
