The base fabric of Tweed - Chanel is a 100% polyester Tweed fabric with a weight of 420gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. Its plain printed color is Light Orange with a CMYK ink combination of 10, 25, 78, and 1. This secondary color could be described as a soft, elegant tone with a slight pastel touch. It combines perfectly with darker shades like browns and grays, and with lighter shades like white and beige.
The fabric is digitally printed with the plain color on one side, meaning it is not a dyed fabric but printed on one side. As for its general characteristics, the texture and feel of the fabric are stiff.
Among the attributes of the base fabric, several applications for this type of fabric can be highlighted. In addition to those mentioned above (jackets, coats, skirts, dresses, etc.), it can also be used for shorts, bow ties, sports vests, and caps. Tweed - Chanel is a timeless fabric perfect for autumn and winter 2021.
It is important to note the care required for this fabric, which includes not bleaching, washing at a maximum temperature of 30ºC, dry cleaning allowed except with trichloroethylene, cold ironing, and it cannot be tumble dried.
The printing technology used for the manufacture of this fabric is sublimation. This process allows the colors to be permanently fixed in the fabric fibers when heated at high temperatures, which ensures greater durability and resistance to washing.
