The base fabric is a 100% polyester Tweed-Chanel, with a weight of 420 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. The solid printed color is Deep Sea Green, with a CMYK of 80 37 65 31. This color is symbolic of the depth and calmness of the sea, as well as trust and stability. Technically, it is a dark color with a slightly blue hue, which combines with neutral colors such as whites, grays, blacks, and browns, as well as with brighter tones such as intense reds and pinks.
The fabric is printed with this solid color on one side by digital textile printing, which means it is not a dyed fabric but printed on one side. The texture of the fabric is stiff to the touch, making it especially suitable for jackets, blazers, coats, skirts, dresses, blousons, cushions and accessories such as bow ties and caps. It is also suitable for making shorts and bermudas, as well as sports vests for women, men, and children.
Among the care instructions to be taken into account for this fabric are no bleaching, washing at a maximum temperature of 30ºC, dry cleaning allowed except trichloroethylene, cold ironing, and no tumble drying. It is important to pay attention to these cares to preserve the quality and longevity of the fabric.
The printing technology used in the manufacture of this fabric is polyester sublimation. This printing process uses a special ink that turns into gas when exposed to high temperatures and pressures. This gas penetrates the fabric and solidifies, creating a durable finish resistant to fading and abrasion. Digital textile printing offers excellent image quality and allows for a wide variety of designs and patterns.
