The base fabric, Tweed Chanel, is a polyester fabric with a weight of 420 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. Its solid printed color is goose gray with a CMYK of 15, 13, 14, 0. This secondary color represents elegance, refinement, and seriousness. It pairs particularly well with earthy tones and beiges to achieve a classic and harmonious look.
It is important to note that the fabric is printed with the solid color on one side using digital textile printing, making it versatile for use in fashion and decoration. The fabric is not dyed but printed on one side, which allows the color to maintain its intensity and clarity.
Regarding the general characteristics of the base fabric, its rigid and structured feel stands out, making it ideal for garments such as jackets, blazers, coats, and skirts. It can also be used for making cushions and other decorative elements.
The applications or uses of the base fabric include fashion for women and men, as well as accessories such as bow ties and caps. In addition, it is ideal for making sportswear such as vests. All of this is possible thanks to its resistance and durability.
As for the care instructions, it should not be bleached, the maximum washing temperature is 30ºC, and it can be dry cleaned except for trichloroethylene. In addition, it is advisable to iron the fabric at a cool temperature and not tumble dry.
Finally, the printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is polyester sublimation, a process that allows the transfer of ink through heat and pressure to the synthetic fiber. This makes the print water-resistant and fade-resistant, guaranteeing the quality and durability of the fabric.
