Se trata de un tejido con relieve y al ser impreso presenta fuerza de color en las fibras más externas quedando en su color natural las fibras internas. Puede presentar pequeñas trazas, hilos o borra dada su naturaleza reciclada y cuya aparición, aunque se de en un % bajo de ocasiones, es totalmente arbitraria e inevitable. |
The Tweed-Chanel base fabric is a polyester weave with a stiff texture and a grammage of 420 gr/m2. Its width is 150 cm and its care instructions include not bleaching, a maximum washing temperature of 30ºC, dry cleaning allowed except trichloroethylene, ironing at cold temperature, and not tumble drying. The fabric is suitable for multiple uses such as jackets, blazers, coats, skirts, dresses, bomber jackets, vests, cushions, bow ties, caps, shorts/bermudas, sports vests, among others.
The plain printed color is a sandstone brown, with a CMYK of 43 37 47 20. This secondary color is highly versatile, as it blends perfectly with a wide range of shades such as olive green, sky blue, rose pink, and whites.
It is important to note that the fabric is printed with the plain color on one side by digital textile printing, so it is not a dyed fabric but printed on one side.
The printing technology used is polyester sublimation. This technique consists of transferring the design printed on special paper, which is applied to the fabric using appropriate pressure and temperature. This produces a total fixation of the color, guaranteeing the quality and durability of the print.
Finally, the specific care instructions for the base fabric must be taken into account to maintain the quality and appearance of the fabric. Avoiding the use of bleach, washing with lukewarm water, using gentle cleaning products, and ironing at low temperature are some of the recommended tips to maintain the quality and appearance of the Tweed-Chanel.
