The base fabric is Tweed - Chanel, a Tweed fabric made of 100% polyester with a weight of 420 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. As for the plain printed color, it is a deep navy blue with a CMYK of 100 80 41 35. This color combines perfectly with light tones such as white, beige or gray, as well as with more intense tones such as red or fuchsia.
It is important to note that the fabric is printed with the plain color on one side by digital textile printing, which allows greater precision in color reproduction and a more matte finish than a dyed fabric.
Regarding the general characteristics, the Tweed - Chanel fabric has a rigid texture and a firm feel that make it ideal for outerwear such as jackets, blazers, coats or trench coats. It is also perfect for skirts, dresses, blousons, vests and accessories such as bow ties or caps. As for its use in home textiles, it is perfect for creating cushions for living rooms, bedrooms or kitchens, as well as for outdoor decoration.
Regarding the care that should be taken for this fabric, it is important not to bleach and wash at a maximum temperature of 30ºC. It can be dry cleaned except with trichloroethylene and it is necessary to iron at a cold temperature. In addition, it should not be tumble dried.
The printing technology with which this fabric is manufactured is sublimation (polyester), a process that consists of printing the design on transfer paper and then transferring it to the fabric through a process of heat and pressure. This allows for precision in the reproduction of the design, as well as great resistance to washing and wear.
