The base fabric of the Tweed - Chanel weave is a tweed with a composition of 100% polyester, weighing 420 gr/m2 and with a width of 150 cm. Its color is a solid print in cotton white with a CMYK of 5 3 4 0. This secondary color represents delicacy, purity, clarity, and simplicity. It combines perfectly with shades of green, blue, pink, gray, gold, and silver.
The fabric is printed with the solid color on one side using digital textile printing, which means it is not a dyed fabric but printed on one side. In terms of its general characteristics, the fabric has a rigid texture and a unique and distinctive feel.
Among the attributes of the base fabric are the numerous applications and uses it offers, such as jackets, blazers, coats, skirts, dresses, bomber jackets, vests, living room, bedroom, and kitchen cushions, as well as outdoor decorative cushions, shorts and bermudas, bow ties, sports vests for women, men, and children, and caps.
It is important to consider certain care instructions for the Tweed - Chanel fabric, such as not bleaching, washing at a maximum temperature of 30ºC, dry cleaning allowed except with trichloroethylene, ironing at a cool temperature, and not tumble drying.
Finally, the printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation, which is a process by which ink turns into gas and penetrates the fabric fibers, creating a durable and high-quality print. This printing process offers a wide range of colors and personalized designs.
