The base fabric is the Waterproof - Outdoor Fabric, a 100% polyester technical fabric with a weight of 200 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. Its plain printed color is a beautiful, rich, and deep lilac purple tone, achieved by a combination of 51% cyan ink, 68% magenta ink, 7% yellow ink, and 0% black ink, with a CMYK of 51 68 7 0. The plain printed color stands out on the fabric with its grainy and rough textures, providing an opaque visual texture. It pairs very well with earthy tones, beige, and white.
It is important to note that the Waterproof - Outdoor Fabric is printed only on one side using digital textile printing, which does not dye the fabric, but rather this printing technology allows the ink to penetrate the fiber of the fabric, achieving a high-quality print with great resistance to washing and wear.
The base fabric has general waterproofing characteristics, making it ideal for use in fashion, such as trench coats or raincoats, as well as in outdoor decoration, as its impermeability makes it suitable for cushions and awnings. Likewise, it can also be used in the textile/home sector, such as dining table cloths. Additionally, thanks to its grainy and rough texture, this fabric is ideal for use in sportswear, such as raincoats for men, women, or children.
Regarding the care instructions for the Waterproof - Outdoor Fabric, bleaching should be avoided, it should not be dry-cleaned, ironed at low temperature, and tumble drying should not be used.
As for the printing technology used for the manufacturing of this fabric, sublimation (polyester) is employed, which uses a printing technique that transforms the ink into gas, allowing its deep penetration into the fiber of the fabric, providing a durable and resistant finish.
