The base fabric of this technical textile, called Waterproof Fabric - Outdoor, is composed of 100% polyester and has a grammage of 200 gr/m2 with a width of 150 cm. Its finish is waterproof, making it ideal for use in fashion garments such as raincoats, for both men and women, and also for sportswear. This fabric is also suitable for use in outdoor decoration, such as awnings and cushions. The solid color printed on this fabric is a vibrant combination of green and sand, with a cyan ink of 29, a magenta ink of 19, a yellow ink of 57, and a black ink of 4, with a CMYK of 29 19 57 4.
The color printed on this base fabric is especially symbolic, as it combines both the serenity transmitted by green and the calm and emotional tranquility evoked by the sand color. In addition, the combination of these colors conveys a sense of connection with nature, making it ideal for use in fashion garments and outdoor decoration. The secondary printed color of this fabric works especially well with other natural tones, such as brown and beige.
It is important to note that the base fabric is printed with the solid color on one side by digital textile printing, which means it is not a dyed fabric but printed on one side. The fabric texture is rough and grainy, which gives it a quality appearance and feel.
Among the attributes of the base fabric, its waterproof finish stands out, making it ideal for use in fashion garments, sports, and outdoor decoration. In addition, the fabric has an opaque texture that gives it a matte appearance and a pleasant feel. Regarding applications and uses, apart from those already mentioned, the fabric can also be used for manufacturing dining tablecloths in the textile/home sector.
It is important to note that for the care of this fabric, it should not be bleached and is not suitable for dry cleaning. In addition, it is recommended to iron at a cold temperature and not to use a dryer to maintain its waterproof properties intact.
Regarding printing technology, sublimation (polyester) is used, a process in which the ink is transferred to the fabric through heat and pressure, resulting in a high-quality and durable print.
