The Waterproof - Outdoor Fabric, a technical fabric with a 100% POLYESTER composition, is a strong and durable fabric with a weight of 200 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. The solid color printed on this fabric is Deep Sea Green, with a CMYK of 88 31 74 22. This color is symbolic of the depth and stability of the ocean, and technically it is a combination of a high percentage of Cyan and Yellow, with a low proportion of Magenta and Black. This deep green pairs well with beige, brown, light yellow, and pastel pink.
The fabric is printed with the solid color on one side using digital textile printing, which means the color is printed directly onto the fabric surface in a single pass, rather than dyed afterward. The fabric features a waterproof finish that makes it water-resistant, as well as a grainy and rough texture that gives it a different feel from other fabrics.
The applications and uses for this fabric are very broad: From fashion garments such as trench coats or raincoats, to outdoor decoration such as awnings or cushions, to tablecloths for dining rooms. Thanks to its impermeability, it is also ideal for sportswear such as jackets and raincoats.
The care instructions for this fabric are simple: Do not bleach, do not dry clean, iron at a cool temperature, and do not tumble dry.
The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation, which allows the design to be printed directly onto the fabric surface using heat. In sublimation, the ink used goes directly from a solid to a gaseous state without passing through a liquid state, which allows for precision of detail and durable color fixation on the fabric. This technique is ideal for synthetic fabrics such as the polyester of the Waterproof - Outdoor Fabric.
