The Recycled Lycra fabric is a sustainable lycra fabric with a composition of 85% recycled polyester and 15% elastane. With a weight of 190 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm, this fabric is soft to the touch and elastic, making it ideal for swimwear, such as bikinis and swimsuits, as well as for other fashion accessories, such as hair ties and scrunchies.
The printed design of the fabric has a simple complexity and is inspired by the nature of the forest, with an antique touch and military camouflage elements. The main colors of the design are multicolor, which makes it easily combinable with solid colors such as black, white or any shade of green. The fabric is printed with this design on only one side, using digital textile printing.
Some of the characteristics of the fabric include chlorine resistance, which makes it suitable for swimwear, and very high UV protection of factor 50+. In addition, the fabric is recycled and sustainable, which adds extra value to its use. The applications and uses of the fabric are many, including the creation of swimwear, casual and sportswear, as well as fashion accessories.
For the care of the fabric, it is important to avoid bleaching and not dry clean. The maximum washing temperature is 40ºC and it is recommended to iron at a cold temperature. The fabric is not suitable for tumble drying.
The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation, which involves printing the image on a special transfer paper sheet that is chemically adhered to the fabric by heating. This technique guarantees a high-quality and durable finish in the printed design.
