The Velvet Corduroy - Dublin is a fabric composed of 85% polyester, 12% polyamide, and 3% elastane, with a weight of 280 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. Its texture is soft and shiny, thanks to the sublimation printing technology used in its printed design.
This design is characterized by its simplicity and artistic and decorative style. The vectorial pattern used in the print gives it a sense of order and harmony, although its main colors, multicolored, provide a certain freshness and vitality. This combination makes it suitable for a wide variety of garments and applications. Additionally, it can be combined with plain colors such as browns, beige, grays, and greens.
The Velvet Corduroy - Dublin is a versatile and resistant fabric, mainly used for upholstery of chairs, armchairs, and sofas, as well as for making fashion garments such as pants, jackets, blazers, and short coats. It can also be used in accessories like bags and backpacks, and in decorative items such as cushions and baskets.
To maintain this fabric in optimal condition, it is necessary to consider some specific care instructions, such as not bleaching it, washing it at a maximum temperature of 30°C, ironing at a cool temperature, and not tumble drying. The Velvet Corduroy - Dublin allows dry cleaning, except with trichloroethylene.
The sublimation printing technology used in the Velvet Corduroy - Dublin is a process that consists of printing the design onto transfer paper using a sublimation printer. Next, the transfer paper is placed on the fabric and subjected to a specific temperature and pressure, so that the printed inks transition to a gaseous state and penetrate the fabric. This technique produces vivid and durable prints with great quality and definition.
