Recycled Lycra fabric is a type of Lycra fabric with a composition of 85% polyester and 15% elastane, with a weight of 190 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. This fabric is soft and elastic to the touch, chlorine-resistant, and has a very high UV protection factor of 50+. The printed design presented on this fabric is abstract, with stains and an artistic and decorative finish. The main colors are multi-colored, making it ideal to combine with other plain fabrics in pink, blue, and green tones. This fabric is printed with the design on one side using digital textile printing.
Regarding the applications and uses of this fabric, it can be used to create scrunchies, sports bikinis and swimsuits, as well as for fashion and the manufacture of designer swimsuits. In addition, being recycled, this fabric is a sustainable option that helps reduce waste.
To care for this fabric, it is important not to bleach it and wash it at a maximum temperature of 40 degrees Celsius. The garment should not be dry cleaned, although it can be ironed at a low temperature. Do not tumble dry.
The printing technology used to create this printed design is sublimation. This printing process allows the ink to penetrate directly into the fibers of the fabric, resulting in a durable print resistant to wear and fading. It is a sustainable and environmentally friendly technique as it does not generate toxic waste.
