Prada Twill fabric is a twill with a weight of 220 gr/m2, composed mainly of 96% polyester and 4% elastane. It has a width of 150 cm and is recommended for summer garments such as blouses, shirts, skirts, dresses, and accessories like scarves. The fabric has a soft and delicate texture to the touch and is perfect for sewing projects that require drape and fluidity.
The printed design of the fabric combines different styles such as abstract, geometric, and graphic patterns in honey dew green, army grey, and battleship grey. These main colors will easily complement plain colors such as white, black, and beige. The design is printed on one side by digital textile printing, which means that the image is transferred to one side of the fabric with great detail and sharpness.
Prada Twill fabric is easy to care for as it is recommended to wash it at a maximum temperature of 30ºC and iron it at a cool temperature. It can be dry cleaned with the exception of trichloroethylene and should not be tumble dried.
Finally, the printing technology used to achieve the printed design on this fabric is sublimation. This process uses heat and pressure to transfer ink in a gaseous state to the surface of the fabric, producing high-quality and durable images. Sublimation is a popular printing technique in the textile industry due to its high precision and vibrant color reproduction.
