Se trata de un tejido con relieve y al ser impreso presenta fuerza de color en las fibras más externas quedando en su color natural las fibras internas. Puede presentar pequeñas trazas, hilos o borra dada su naturaleza reciclada y cuya aparición, aunque se de en un % bajo de ocasiones, es totalmente arbitraria e inevitable. |
Tweed - Chanel fabric is a polyester fabric weighing 420 gr/m2 and with a width of 150cm. Its printed design is characterized by an abstract style, with a decorative vectorial pattern of hexagonal shapes in multicolor, alluding to modern art. This design could be combined with plain colors such as white, black, pink, and blue.
The fabric is printed with the design on one side using digital textile printing, meaning the print is only on one side of the fabric. Regarding its general characteristics, the fabric stands out for having a rigid texture to the touch.
Among the most common applications and uses for this fabric are the making of jackets, blazers, coats, skirts, dresses, bomber jackets, vests, shorts, Bermuda shorts, bow ties, and caps, as well as home cushions and sports vests for men, women, and children.
It is important to note that this fabric requires specific care, such as not bleaching, washing at a maximum temperature of 30ºC, ironing at a cool temperature, and not tumble drying. It is also important to mention that it can be dry cleaned except with trichloroethylene.
Finally, the printing technology used for the manufacturing of this fabric is polyester sublimation, which allows for high image quality with vibrant and long-lasting colors.
