The Crepe de Punto Elástico - Riga fabric features a botanical-style printed design with plant and leaf motifs in a garden landscape, in multicolored tones that stand out against the fabrics base. The elastic and grainy texture and feel of the fabric add to the beauty of the print, which wonderfully complements both dark and light plain colors, such as black or pastel yellow.
The fabric is printed with the design on one side using digital textile printing, so it is advisable to wash and iron garments made with this fabric inside out to preserve the intensity of the design. The elastic knit crepe fabric is suitable for a wide range of womens and mens fashion applications, such as dresses, jumpsuits, t-shirts, tops, skirts, pants, cardigans, and knitwear, as well as for accessories.
Among the fabrics characteristics are its durability, its ability to adapt to different body types, and its ease of care. The elastic properties of the fabric allow it to fit well to the body, providing a comfortable and flattering fit. In addition, sublimation printing technology ensures that the design remains vibrant for a long time.
Care for Crepe de Punto Elástico - Riga fabric includes avoiding bleach, machine washing at a maximum temperature of 40º, and ironing at a cool temperature. Dry cleaning is also allowed except with trichloroethylene, and it can be tumble dried at a reduced temperature.
The sublimation printing technique consists of a process in which the image is printed in reverse on transfer paper and then transferred onto the fabric using heat. In this case, the fact that the base fabric is composed of a high percentage of polyester is what allows sublimation printing to be effective. This printing process ensures that the design is resistant and durable, no matter how many times the fabric is washed or how long it is used.
