The Polyester Lycra fabric - Nairobi is an elastic fabric with a soft and pleasant texture to the touch, making it perfect for lingerie, sports, swimwear, and fashion garments. The botanical and nature-inspired printed design features a combination of plants and leaves that create a vibrant and colorful landscape, with multicolor tones as protagonists. This design can be perfectly combined with solid colors such as green, blue, black, white, and pink. It is important to note that this fabric is printed with the stamped design on one side using digital textile printing.
The general characteristics of the fabric are that it is chlorine resistant and has a very high UV Protection Factor of 50+, making it ideal for swimwear and sports garments that require high resistance and protection against solar radiation. The fabric is also elastic, which provides greater comfort and freedom of movement when used. Regarding the design, the attributes of the botanical and nature style merge to create a landscape that evokes freshness and nature, making it perfect for summer and spring garments.
The applications or uses of this fabric cover a wide variety of possibilities, from lingerie and bodysuits to sports garments such as tights, leggings, swimsuits, and bikinis. It is also suitable for making leotards, for both men and women and children. It is important to highlight that these applications and uses extend due to its high degree of elasticity and resistance.
As for the care that should be taken for this fabric, it is advisable not to bleach it and wash it at a maximum temperature of 40 degrees Celsius, do not tumble dry and iron at a cool temperature. Likewise, it is important to mention that this fabric allows dry cleaning, except with trichloroethylene.
The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation (polyester), which allows the printed design to have high definition and durability, thanks to the penetration of the inks into the fibers of the fabric. In this way, a high-quality print and greater resistance to washing and exposure to sunlight are achieved.
